Hi folks - We're sad to say that we're seeing an increase in suspected overdoses in the Truckee/Tahoe area. Thankfully, Narcan has been available in these instances and lives have been saved. 

Unfortunately, on Monday our neighbors in South Lake Tahoe lost four community members to suspected fentanyl overdose deaths. Read more about this tragedy here. Our hearts go out to all impacted by these tragic losses.

REMEMBER…Counterfeit pills or other street drugs (i.e.- MDMA, cocaine, and others) may include lethal doses of fentanyl. Naloxone is easy to use and small to carry. Naloxone can be used without medical training or authorization and can be used on anyone at risk, as there are no effects on someone without opioids in their system.

Thank you to all who participated in the Hike for Hope in 2023. We are looking forward to seeing you again this year. Last year, we were able to raise $16,138.66 with 187 individual donations!  The most donations were brought in by Team Knowmadic. On hike day, we were joined by 72 phenomenal hikers.
